A Reset Dashboard Clock Does Not Explain Why a Car Stopped
A dashboard clock showing the wrong time can be one observation among several when requesting a Kendall tow. It does not identify the cause of a starting problem by itself. Explain the current behavior without assuming that the clock proves a battery failure or another specific fault.
Report separate observations separately
Describe whether the start command responds, whether the display lights up and when you first noticed the incorrect time. If you do not know when the clock reset, say so. Do not repeatedly attempt to start the vehicle simply to collect more details for the message.
Focus on the service request
Provide the location and intended destination along with the symptoms you already know. Ask dispatch to assess the request rather than presenting an unconfirmed diagnosis as fact. If a mechanic later supplies new information, update the conversation. This keeps the towing plan grounded in the vehicle's actual condition and the help you are requesting.
