Clarifying a Towing Quote Received by Voice Message
A voice message can be difficult to hear when you are coordinating vehicle transport. If an amount, destination or condition is unclear, ask Rapid Towing to confirm that point in writing before authorizing the service. Hearing only part of a proposal is not enough to know what it includes.
Identify the missing detail
Say whether you could not hear the price, the proposed scope, a location or another condition. Repeat only the facts you understood and ask the dispatcher to correct them if necessary. Avoid filling in an unclear sentence with an assumption. If your request involves more than one vehicle, specify which vehicle the message concerns.
Confirm the current proposal
Keep the written clarification with the pickup address, destination and vehicle description. Ask whether the estimate depends on details that have not yet been checked. If the circumstances change, explain that before relying on the previous message. A request for clarification is not the same as dispatch authorization. Make sure both sides understand when you are asking a question and when you are agreeing to the confirmed service.
