Describing a Car That Will Not Move in Kendall
Saying a car is broken does not explain whether it starts, rolls or has an obvious obstruction. A clear description of what you already know helps dispatch assess the request without asking you to perform repairs.
Separate starting from moving
Tell dispatch whether the engine starts and whether the vehicle has been able to move normally. These are different observations. If you do not know whether it can roll or steer, say that instead of experimenting solely to provide an answer.
Mention known changes
Describe recent damage, a warning you noticed or a component a repair professional has already identified as a problem. Keep your observations separate from somebody else's diagnosis. Do not crawl under the car, force controls or attempt a loading procedure to make the description more complete.
Let the operator assess equipment
Give the make, model and pickup setting along with the condition details. Ask which arrangement is proposed and what remains to be assessed on arrival. If the condition changes before pickup, update dispatch. A label such as flatbed by itself does not settle every access or handling requirement.
